UNDER THE HOOD
Domain and Application Layer
Domains, services, applications, and transformation logic.
The domain and application layer contains the domains, services, applications, and transformation logic that create functionality and determine how authorized data is processed.
Service developers own their applications and transformation logic. Independently from the data layer, ownership of a service can be transferred to another person. The service itself is also a ghost in the application layer.
Ghost id zero is the service (application-layer ghostid). A service owner can give away the service by transferring ghost id zero to another person.
The service owner has always access to a local copy of data related to the application layer. This includes morphed data and command data.
